Anita Mamela- Anita has her Masters in Music Education and teaches music in high school. She is classically trained herself, but plays and teaches a wide variety of music, including jazz band, and musical theatre. Anita has extensive experience teaching in group and camp settings, and has been a fierce competitor at both Provincial and National contests.
Doug Borden- Doug is a multi-talented instrumentalist with years of experience in playing and teaching. Doug's fun personality and style shines through in his teaching. Doug has taught guitar in group settings at Gavin Lake Fiddle Camp and has been learning to "call" for square dances.
Jim Borden- Jim has been playing music from a young age. A member of the old time fiddlers, performing with groups, he is an accomplished mandolin player and teacher, who has taught at Gavin Lake Fiddle Camp for years. He is also a fine instrument builder, and has made several mandolins, fiddles, guitars and even a banjo-lin!
Adam Johnson- Adam was 2013 BC Provincial Fiddle Champion. He was invited to the 2012 Canadian Grand Masters as one of 3 to play in the Junior Showcase. He has been invited back in 2013 ( placing 14th in Canada) and this year to represent BC as a competitor. Adam has entertained around the province for years, as well as teaching in groups or privately. He has explored many styles of music such as old time, celtic,bluegrass, metis, and swing. He is also a member of Bronco and will be performing for our dance this year.
Deni Johnson- Deni has been playing fiddle and entertaining our community for years. He has taught lessons in elementary schools in group settings as well as individual private lessons at Quesnel Music. Deni is an accomplished musician who has been BC's Provincial Fiddle Champion in 2010, has been invited to compete at the Canadian Grand Masters for the 4th time this year. Deni has completed his first solo CD "Perseverance", which he has played all instruments on the cd! released last summer,copies will be available at "Roy's Retreat". Deni plays a variety of music, metis, bluegrass, old time, celtic and his own compositions.

For our camp he is able to offer workshops for chording on guitar for beginners, keyboard, songwriting/brainstorming, and blues guitar, possibly karaoke,depending on interest.
Eddie is not only an accomplished children's entertainer, but also a recording artist, sound engineer, and host of our local "You're the Star" on cable 10.
